A Chronicle of Dogma & Lies
________________________________

August 30, 2006 | The fine folks at Mother Jones have compiled an incredible resource tool that documents the events and the fabrications that key members of the Bush administration utilized to get us where we are now. If you think our present standing in the world is good - then you need to peruse this incredible resource more than most.

The first check we made here at CSE was to slide back to March 1992. When we did so, there was the picture of Wolfowitz with discussion of his initial "Defense Planning Guidance" document that the administration erroneously followed over a decade later. With Cheney and Powell in place and Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Perle and Feith in place at the Pentagon, our congress voted to allow these prognosticators of violence the freedom to act. Every subsequent spot check of essential information we have compiled here at CSE appears also to be in place.

Good show Mother Jones. The time and effort to compile this useful resource is admirable. The best thing we Americans can do in response is to pass the resource location along and utilize the various links in future publications to keep the truth in front of the American public.

Please, bookmark the link below. Read it. And most important - PASS IT ON!

Lie by Lie: Chronicle of a War Foretold: August 1990 to March 2003

The first drafts of history are fragmentary. Important revelations arrive late, and out of order. In this timeline, we've assembled the history of the Iraq War to create a resource we hope will help resolve open questions of the Bush era. What did our leaders know and when did they know it? And, perhaps just as important, what red flags did we miss, and how could we have missed them? This is the first installment in our Iraq War timeline project.
